2016 — Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance

The Spirit of Motoring Trophy was awarded to Clive Beecham by Royal Automobile Club Motoring Committee Chairman, Peter Read, who commented: “Motoring has always been about adventure and so the Spirit of Motoring award needed to reflect this. Clive Beecham owns one of the very early cars built by Touring and through this connection, encouraged them to create a modern day version of one of their iconic cars. This was the start of a fascinating adventure for Clive and Touring to experience together and has resulted in the wonderful car on display here today”.

Restoration of a Touring bodywork.
The cooperation between Bristol and Touring resulted in a limited batch of 7 or 8 cars to be coach built in Milan. #217 belongs to this very limited batch and was completely restored.

Restoration of a non Touring bodywork.
The Siata Daina Sport was introduced at the 1952 Torino show. It was the coupé version of the Daina Grand Sport cabriolet and used the same chassis & drivetrain.
The Daina Sport succesfully competed many international races and rallys during the early fifties.

Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes by Public Referendum at Villa Erba2016 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Spyder

2016 — Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este

Touring Superleggera received the same award in 2013 with the Coupé version of the Disco Volante. The public recognised in the Spyder the strive for exclusivity and purity of design hallmarking all the recent conceptions.

Concours d’Elegance Masterpieces & Style Schloss Dyck, Jüchen

Restoration of a non Touring bodywork.
This is the last Daina Sport produced. At one point in its early life, it was damaged in an accident and returned to Bertone for repair, and was heavily modified with a new front grille, altered front section, and with addition of a boot lid & luggage compartment.
The car was “barn find” before being sent in 2011 to Touring Superleggera for an extensive restoration. It included re-establishing its original shape and specifications.
