Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2022

Touring Superlggera has a special and unique link with the Concorso and The Hotel Villa d’Este. In 1931 a Touring bodied car won the unique combination of both Coppa d’Oro and Best of Jury, thanks to the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Flying Star entered by the charming Lady Josette Pozzo. Again, the following year an Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Touring bodied won both prizes. That is really unique!

Then memorable is the winning of the last of the period Concorso edition of 1949, when a 6C 2500 SS Touring won the Coppa d’Oro . This was the model that from the moment it won the prize was baptized by popular acclaim as the “Villa d’Este”, thus making a considerable contribution to the spread of the fame of this princely residence in the world of motoring.

Not to mention in the recent years the win of 2 Design Award for Disco Volante and Disco Volante Spyder. This year Touring competes with the Arese RH95, the evolution of Touring’s “Streamline” styling philosophy, introduced with the Disco Volante Coupé .
